Camel Bites Man, Wife Bites Camel

So you know how animal bites can be dangerous and lead to rabies, hence humans are prescribed to get properly medicated if they are bitten by a dog or a cat or a camel? Turns out human bites can have the same effect on the animals or is that a bizarre possibility?

Now, in quite a weird incident, a camel, Casper was given anitbiotics by a vet after it was reportedly bitten by a woman. This happened when the woman was stuck under the 272 kg animal, the largest resident of the zoo, and tried to free herself.

Apparently Gloria Lancaster (68) and Edmond Lancaster (73) were throwing treats for their unleashed deaf dog inside of the camel's enclosure at Tiger Truck Shop at Grosse Tete, Louisiana, USA.

The couple reportedly told the police that the camel attacked their dog without provocation. (You just sent your dog into that camel’s home woman!). However according to the sheriff’s office it was the woman who provoked the animal before it sat on her.

When the couple were not able to get their dog out, they went near the camel and started shooing it away. However, Casper panicked and to defend himself sat on the woman. Now trapped beneath the camel the woman did the one thing that made sense to her.

“I might feel kind of funny saying this on TV, but she actually … bit him in his private area. That’s about as nice as I could put it,” Washington Post quoted the manager at the Truck stop, Pamela Bossier as saying.

He also informed that a veterinarian prescribed antibiotics to the camel as a precaution.

Well first of all, how is feeding a dog in a camel shed not a provocation enough and when the animal expressed its displeasure, how is it a good idea to bite it back? May be its good that the camel was given meds, hope it doesn’t catch the stupidity of the couple.
