Amazon founder Jeff Bezos topped the list with a total net worth of $131 billion. The American entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist is the first-ever man to touch the $100 billion mark!
The second place is held by Bill Gates. Best known as the principal founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates' total wealth is $96.5 billion.
Warren Buffett completed third on the list of Richest People in the World. With a net worth of $82.5, Buffett is world's most successful investor and is the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway.
French business magnate and art collector Bernard Arnault & family is the world's fourth wealthiest person in the world with a net worth of $76 billion. Arnault is the chairperson of the luxury-goods company LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE.
Carlos Slim Helu & family occupied the fifth spot in the world rankings. The Mexican business tycoon is the richest man in Mexico and Latin America with $64 billion worth!
Spanish businessman Amancio Ortega has a net worth of $62.7 billion. The founder and former chairman of the Spanish multinational clothing brand named Inditex which includes big brands like Zara, Massimo Dutt, Bershka and Pull and Bear.
American businessman and the founder of Oracle Corporation, Larry Ellison finished seventh on the list with a total net worth of $62.5 billion.
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg slipped down three positions and was ranked number 8 in the world rankings. Zuckerberg net worth counted $62.3 billion.
Co-founder of financial information and media company Bloomberg, Michael Bloomberg jumped from 11th to 9th spot with a total net worth of $55. 5 billion.
Co-founder of Google, Larry Page grabbed the tenth spot with a net worth of $50.8 billion.
