Bigg Boss 12 official list is here; 6 celebrities and 6 jodis to be locked inside the house
The stage is set for the grand unveiling of India's most controversial reality show Big Boss 12. Bollywood ace superstar and host of the show Salman Khan shot for the premiere episode last night in Lonavala with all the 18 contestants who will be locked for the next 100 days. This year, like the previous two seasons, has a mix of common man and celebrities who will be surviving the tough tasks in the locked house sans any luxuries. The unique thing this season is the concept of jodis for the first time. While most of the celebrities are entering solo, the commoners are entering in pairs. So lovebirds, cop, lawyer, sisters and farmer will be entering the house as contestants.
The Bigg Boss house has been modelled on a beach theme and has been designed and created by Omung Kumar. Here is the official list of inmates of Bigg Boss 12 house who will be entering the show in the premiere episode.
1. Dipika Kakar Ibrahim: The popular TV actress, best known as Simar from Colors popular show Sasural Simar Ka, started off as an air hostess with Jet Airways and was married to her colleague Raunak Samson. She later ventured into Television with Imagine TV's Devi. Dipika while doing Sasural Simar Ka fell in love with her co-star Shoaib Ibrahim. She soon divorced her husband and started dating Shoaib. After almost four years of playing Simar, she quit the show and married Shoaib this year. Dipika has also dabbled into reality TV and has done shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Ja and Nach Baliye in the past. She recently made her Bollywood debut with JP Dutta's Paltan. In Bigg Boss 12, she is expected to fill in Hina Khan's shoes as like her she's also a popular TV bahu trying to shed her on screen image.
2. Neha Pendse: The May I Come In Madam who also co-hosted Family Time With Kapil Sharma recently, will remind viewers of Shilpa Shinde. Like Shilpa, Neha too is a Maharashtrian and is popular for her comedy show. Neha started off with Marathi shows and gained popularity with comedy show May I Come In Madam, although she has been in the industry for more than two decades and had initially done shows like Hasratein. Neha is quite outspoken and has a sense of humour. IT needs to be seen if Neha would be able to match up to the histrionics of Shilpa Shinde in the last season.
3. Karanvir Bohra: Karanvir, whose real name is Manoj Bohra, is again a popular TV actor. Like Hiten Tejwani in last season, Karanvir is also a senior TV actor working for the last 12 years. Karanveer is flashy and flamboyant who surely will be one master planner in the house. Known for shows like Shararat, Kasauti Zindagi Kay, Qubool Hai, Saubhagyawati Bhav and Naagin 2, Karanveer will be one smart and sharp player.
4. Srishti Rode: The pretty girl of TV shows like Shobha Somnath Ki, Ye Ishq Haaye and Punarvivaah is the glamour girl of Big Boss 12. In real life, Srishti is known for her friendly nature but her real test will be in the house. Srishti, who is engaged to actor Manish Nagdev, will be seen in a reality show for the first time. It remains to be seen how she will break her image of a cute girl to a sharp player in Bigg Boss 12.
