Indian Passports to be in both English and Hindi announces Sushma Swaraj and application fees reduced by 10%
External affairs minister Sushma Swaraj declared on Friday that passports will now be in both Hindi and English, and not simply in English.
She announced 10% decreases in passports charge for candidates who are under eight and more than 60 years old.
Personal details in passports are presently printed just in English.
The outer undertakings serve was tending to an occasion to check 50 years of the Passport Act, 1967.
