Nation pays homage to bravehearts of 1971 Indo-Pak war on Vijay Diwas
The country is paying tributes to the bravehearts on Friday who set out their lives amid 1971 India-Pakistan war on the event of Vijay Diwas.
On the event, Union Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar alongside three Service chiefs will pay tributes to the bravehearts at Amar Jawan Jyoti.
On this day in 1971, the head of the Pakistani strengths, General Amir Abdullah Khan Niazi, alongside 93,000 troops had surrendered unequivocally to the united powers comprising of Indian Army and Mukti Bahini, drove by General Jagjit Singh Aurora in Dhaka after their annihilation in the war.
The end of the war additionally brought about resulting severance of East Pakistan into Bangladesh.
Unique projects are likewise being sorted out at the home office of the Eastern Command at the Fort William in Kolkata to praise the day.
Driven by Bangladesh Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan, a 72-part assignment of war veterans and Mukti Jodahas from the neighboring nation will partake in Vijay Diwas festivities.
