Suspected Al Qaeda-linked terrorist arrested in Delhi
New Delhi: In a major breakthrough, Indian agencies have captured a charged Al Qaeda-connected terrorist from New Delhi on Wednesday.
Syed Mohammed Zishan Ali, a presumed Al-Qaeda in Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) criminal, based out of Saudi Arabia, has been on the Delhi police special cell's Wanted List since June 2016.
Ali has been expelled to India from Saudi Arabia, revealed news organization ANI.
Zishan's name was additionally specified in a chargesheet recorded against the affirmed AQIS denounced people.
Zishan, orginally from Jamshedpur, for the most part worked from Saudi Arabia. As indicated by the Hindu, he purportedly wedded to sister of Sabeel Ahmed – a cousin of Kafeel Ahmed, the 2007 Glasgow universal airport attack mastermind.
Zishan's sibling Syed Mohammed Arshiyan additionally supposedly has joins with global terror outfits.
