So, what is the mantra to become an internet viral sensation? Well, there isn't any. Sure, if you want to become a content creator, there are certain algorithms and planning you'll have to do to become viral, but what about all those commoners who become one overnight.
That's right! The social media generation has been making many common people into the most viral sensations and all it took was their talent or something that really is catchy.
So, here are all the ordinary Indians who became viral on the internet overnight :
1. Ranu Mondal - Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai
Mondal was first discovered at the Ranaghat Railway Station in West Bengal in 2019 singing the Lata Mangeshkar classic Ek Pyar Ka Nagma. After that, there was no looking back for her. She instantly became an overnight singing sensation and was approached by singer-composer Himesh Reshammiya who signed a contract with her to sing for his album. Her first song with Reshammiya Teri Meri Kahani too got viral.

2. Sahadev Dirdo - Bachpan Ka Pyaar
A child from Chhatisgarh was casually singing bachpan ka pyaar to his teachers in a classroom wearing a blue shirt. He never thought that this casual upload would make him a star in no time. From celebrities such as rapper Badshaah to Niharika NM and Ruhee Dosani, many found various versions of this boy's singing and vibed on it. Not just that, recently even the Cm of Chattisgarh felicitated him with a flower garland.
3. Kanta Prasad – Baba Ka Dhaba
Owning a small dhaba in Delhi's Malviya Nagar, Kanta Prasad AKA Baba broke many hearts with his interview last year with food blogger Gaurav Wasan. This interview was viewed by over 50 million people on Facebook and 30 million people on Instagram, it was even shared by actress Sonam Kapoor along with many other celebrities. This is when Baba Ka Dhaba became popular, thousands of people visited this small dhaba after watching the video and came forward to help Kanta Prasad financially. He even built a restaurant based on that.
4. Vipin Sahu – Land Kara De
This man became an internet sensation in 2019 after a hilarious video of his first experience of paragliding in Himachal Pradesh was shared on social media. In the video, a visibly scared Sahu kept asking the paragliding guy to take him back. He kept saying, “Bhai 200-300 Zaada Lele Bas Land Karade” and "Main Ma******d hun jo yahan aya". This guy even became one of the contestants on MTV Roadies and is now a popular Youtuber with 125K subscribers.

5. Anita Gupta - Gucci Belt Rant
A month ago, Instagram user Chabi Gupta shared a candid reaction of her mother, Anita Gupta, opening a box consisting of a red and green belt her daughter bought from the luxury fashion brand Gucci. Shocked by the price of the product, the mother was seen declaring that it resembles the belts worn by students of Delhi Public School (DPS), Ranchi. She seemed extremely shocked by the price of the belt which was Rs 35,000 and got popular after this reaction. Late, she got a photoshoot wearing the belt over her saree.
