Army Chief : Youth in J&K being instigated by misinformation campaign on social media
Dehradun: Indian Army Chief General Bipin Singh Rawat on Saturday said youth in Kashmir are being deluded to take wrong way.
While going to the Passing Out Parade held at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) in Dehradun, the Army Chief stated, "Youth in Kashmir are being instigated by a misinformation and disinformation battle being keep running via social media."
"Young people there (Valley) are misleaded to take wrong way. We generally attempt that adolescent, who are misdirected, ought to drop their weapons and accompanied us," the Army Chef said.
Jammu and Kashmir has been on the bubble since the murdering of Hizbul Mujahideen aggressor Burhan Wani in July a year ago.
