Banaras Hindu University's 99th convocation today; Bharat Ratna Prof CNR Rao to be chief guest
Varanasi: Banaras Hindu University will hold its 99th convocation on Monday where famous researcher and Bharat Ratna Prof C N R Rao will be the main visitor, a BHU public statement states.
Understudies will be granted with various awards for their execution in their individual subjects.
As per the official statement, Chancellor Medal, Late Maharaja Vibhuti Narayan Singh Medal and BHU Gold Medal will be awared to Shikha Dubey of Institute of Science for securing most elevated CGPA among understudies showing up at the Masters Examination, 2016.
Similar decorations will likewise be granted to Chandra Kant Pandey of SVDV for securing most elevated CGPA among understudies showing up at the Undergraduate Degree Examinations, 2016, it said.
10,614 degrees will be granted to the understudies. About 26 understudies will be deliberated with gold awards, where young ladies, with 17 decorations, have dwarfed young men.
