New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday paid tributes to freedom warriors Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Hari Rajguru, and Sukhdev Thapar upon the arrival of their suffering.
India will always remember their strength and give up, tweeted the PM.
The trio were hanged in Lahore imprison on March 23, 1931.
Bhagat Singh, who was 23-year-old at the season of his hanging, was conceived in Banga town of Faisalabad district (beforehand called Lyallpur) in the Punjab region (now in Pakistan) in 1907.
Walk 23 is seen as Martyr`s Day in Punjab.
