More than 40 workers were dreaded caught after a coal mine collapsed in on Thursday night in Jharkhand's Godda locale, the most recent mishap in a nation with a poor record of modern security.
The mining operation was a piece of the Rajmahal Opencast Project of Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL). It was being done by Mahalaxmi Company for the benefit of the ECL at Paharia Bhodaye site in Godda locale, about 250 km from the state capital Ranchi.
As indicated by police, the occurrence happened amid a move change late on Thursday and safeguard operation couldn't be begun in the night because of haziness and haze.
"Safeguard operation began from 6am on Friday morning. We are not certain with respect to what number of specialists and vehicles are caught inside the mine. Chauhan included that a save group from Dhanbad has achieved the site.
