Govt affirms more than 4,000 PG medical seats for scholarly session 2017-18

Delhi: The  government has endorsed an all-time record number of more than 4,000 PG medical seats in different medicinal schools and hospitals for academic session 2017-18, according to ANI. 
 
On September 21, it was accounted for that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for Post-Graduate Diploma courses would be directed by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) from December 5-13 crosswise over 41 urban communities. 
 
"The examination will be held in 86 test focuses at 41 urban communities from December 5?13, 2016. The examination will be held as a PC based test and will include 300 different decision inquiries from the MBBS educational modules took after at therapeutic universities in India... Appropriately recommended according to the Graduate Medical Education Regulation informed by Medical Council of India (MCI) with earlier endorsement of the Health Ministry," an official articulation had said while giving subtle elements in regards to the NEET PG certificate courses examination, according to PTI. 
 
The announcement had said that it would be a solitary qualification cum placement test for admission to PG medical courses for the scholastic session 2017 and would incorporate all India 50 percent portion seats for MD, MS and PG Diploma courses for all states aside from Andhra Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Telangana. 
 
It would likewise incorporate state portion seats for MD, MS and PG confirmation courses for all states and UTs including Andhra Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Telangana. 
 
Likewise, the examinations for NEET MDS courses (Dental) would be held in 86 test focuses at 41 urban areas and it will likewise be a PC based test which will contain 240 various decision questions. 
 
"NEET-MDS is a solitary window selection test for section to dental post graduate courses. No other examination either at state level or institutional level selection test directed by dental schools or organizations should be substantial according to the Dentists Act, 1948 with impact from 2017 affirmation session," the official explanation had said. 
 
"AIIMS, PGIMER, Chandigarh, Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) and SRICHITRA Institute are not secured by NEET PG. The AIIMS, New Delhi Dental foundation is not secured by concentrated confirmations for MDS situates through NEET-MDS for 2017 session," the announcement had included.
