New Delhi: Taxpayers without Aadhaar number or its enrolment ID won't have the capacity to e-file their Income Tax returns (ITRs) from July 1 even as the tax office has said that for no situation any PAN will be invalidated.
A senior Income Tax Department official elucidated that individuals who are not ready to interface their Aadhaar and Permanent Account Number (PAN) by July 1, will have the choice to specify the UIDAI-gave number in the e-ITR and this will be viewed as a legitimate connecting of the two exceptional numbers.
Various inquiries and questions have ascended on the issue of Aadhaar-PAN connecting in the wake of the administration making it clear that Aadhaar will be an "absolute necessity" for documenting ITRs and acquiring another PAN from July 1.
No PAN, which is not connected to Aadhaar, will be canceled from July 1.
Be that as it may, any individual who needs to e-document their ITRs will either need to have an Aadhaar number or the enrolment id to be specified in their ITR or earlier connection it over the e-recording entrance of the office.
On the off chance that Aadhaar qualifications are not connected with PAN or said in the ITR, at that point such a man won't have the capacity to e-document.
