A neighborhood court in Karimnagar area of Telangana sentenced a 30-year-old man to death for raping and killing a three-and-a-half-year-old girl.
The episode occurred on February 27, 2016, at Damerakunta town of Kataram piece, which is currently in Jayashankar Bhupalpalli region, and the trial was finished in a record time of 10 months. The sentence was maintained by Karimnagar first extra sessions judge D Suresh on Thursday.

He was moved to Warangal Central Jail on Friday.
