Mumbai Male Dog Brutally Gang Raped By 4 Low Lives Dies After Fighting For His Life
Until now, national capital New Delhi and surrounding regions were known as the ‘rape capital’ for notorious crimes that take place in the vicinity. However, a heart-wrenching news of a male street dog being brutally raped by four low lives in Mumbai has surpassed all other misdeeds.
The incident, which brings shame to humanity and poses serious questions about the safety of dogs in our country, has invited a lot of flak, grief and anger from around the globe.
A non-profit organisation, Animals Matter To Me (AMTM) which had taken care of the dog and had been treating it posted on social media platform, Facebook that the dog had succumbed to his injuries.
The welfare organisation posted a few photos of a vet examining the body of the animal along with a police officer.
“Courage fought a lot but went in his sleep today. Malad Mumbai police team is in for panchnama & courage's remains will be sent for post mortem. Another speechless soul harmed by an dangerous animal called Human. Hope culprits are nabbed soon.’” read the caption of the post.
Soon social media users started offering their heartfelt condolences for the street animal. Many people asserted that the dog had gone to a better place, expressing astonishment that how could humanity stoop to a new level with each passing day.
The incident took place on Saturday night in Mumbai’s Malwani when a local resident, Sudha Fernandes, who regularly feeds the dog found its private parts seriously injured and found the animal bleeding profusely.
Fernandes added that later, a local auto driver informed them that he saw four men, who were allegedly under influence of drugs sexually abusing the dog, which was tied on the legs and its mouth gagged.
The doctor who treated the quadruped had earlier said its private parts have been mutilated in such a way that it could not happen unless someone forcibly harmed it adding that someone even tried to fold its hind legs near the pelvis.
In August this year, eight men were booked for raping a goat that was pregnant in Haryana’s Mewat district. The goat had also succumbed to her injuries and the state police had arrested two of the eight accused.
