National Eligibility cum Entrance Test: NEET to be held in these 8 languages - Here's list
New Delhi: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for confirmation in therapeutic universities will be held in eight dialects Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu-for the scholarly year 2017-18.
Additionally, the hopeful qualifying NEET will be qualified for all India portion and different shares under the State governments and Institutes independent of the medium taken by applicants, subject to other qualification criteria, the Union Health Ministry said in an announcement.
In May, Union Health Minister J P Nadda had held a meeting with the Health Ministers and Health Secretaries of 18 states/Union Territories towards execution of NEET crosswise over states.
Joint Secretary, Medical Education, A K Singhal said, "The community oriented endeavors of Central Health Ministry with the state wellbeing services have prompt to this choice in order to bring equality for the understudies who have taken the State Board exams."
