In recognising of section 27, a clause, referred to as sub-segment (c), has been added. It says “the behaviour of ‘Jallikattu’ with the intention to observe and promote culture and way of life and make certain survival and continuance of local breeds of bulls.”

The segment 28-A, which would observe segment – 28, states “not anything contained in this Act shall practice to ‘Jallikattu’ performed to comply with and sell tradition and subculture and such conduct of ‘Jallikattu’ shall no longer be an offence under this Act.”
