Ram Nath Kovind wins Presidential election, to become 14th President of India

NDA  candidate Ram Nath Kovind wins the Presidential race. He will end up being the fourteenth President of India.

Ram Nath Kovind collected 65.65 percent of votes, which means 7,02,644 votes.

Meira Kumar figured out how to pack 34.35 percent votes, which adds up to 1,67,314 votes

As Kovind builds up a huge lead over opponent Meira Kumar, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee salutes the NDA's Presidential competitor.
