Smriti Irani gets Information and Broadcasting ministry, NS Tomar given urban development ministry after Venkaiah Naidu resigns
NEW DELHI: Following the acquiescence of Union minister Venkaiah Naidu, PM Modi on Tuesday made Smriti Irani information and broadcasting minister and Narendra Singh Tomar housing and urban development minister.
Venkaiah Naidu held both these services before he surrendered following the NDA naming him its Vice presidential chosen one
Irani, who's now Union textiles minister, will get extra charge of information and broadcasting. Tomar, who's as of now rural development minister also gets urban development as an additional charge.
After Naidu's candidature was declared on Monday, investigators expected a reshuffle after the finish of the storm session of Parliament one month from now. The services of guard and condition are now being dealt with by fund serve Arun Jaitley and science and innovation serve Harsh Vardhan as their extra duties.
The PM has discussed exhausted seat quality a month ago when he said he couldn't extra any of his senior pastors for President and chose Ram Nath Kovind for the top constitutional office.
