The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has said that the junior engineers' (considerate, mechanical, electrical and amount studying and contract) examination 2016 has been further put off and will now be held in February, 2017. In a late notice, SSC had deferred the lesser engineers'(JE) exams from December 8, 9 and 12 to between December 20 and December 23, 2016.
In a notice issued on Thursday, the commission said, "The JE Examination-2016 (Paper-I), which was likely planned to be held from 20.12.2016 to 23.12.2016, has been rescheduled because of regulatory reasons and would now be held in the month of February 2017. The correct dates for JE Examination-2016 (Paper-I and Paper-II) would be hinted quickly."
Exam scheme
The exam will be of 200 imprints, two hours length and of target nature. The applicants will get inquiries of 50 checks on general insight and thinking, 50 stamps on general mindfulness and 100 stamps on general designing (common and basic) or general building (electrical) or general designing (mechanical).
In the general building segment, applicants will be required to endeavor just the part as selected by them amid filling of the application frame. Applicants will lose 0.25 imprints for every wrong reply.
Applicants who clear the PC based examination (Paper-I) will be required the routine sort or composed examination (Paper-II).
