Statehood Day: PM Narendra Modi greets Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday extended his greetings and wished state of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram on their Statehood Day, expressing his desire to see development usher into the states. Statehood Day greeting to the citizens of Arunachal Pradesh. May the state scale new heights of development in the coming times. On their Statehood Day, my greetings to the people of Mizoram. I pray the Mizoram progress immensely in the years to come," the Prime Minister said in a series of tweets today.
Union Minister of Home Affairs rajnath Singh also greeted both states adding that he will attend the Arunachal Pradesh Statehood Day function at Itanagar today. "My greetings to the people of Mizoram on the 'Statehood Day'. I pray for the continuous progress of the state. Greetings to the people of Arunachal Pradesh on 31st 'State Foundation Day'. I wish for development and prosperity of the state," Rajnath Singh tweeted.
Singh will grace the 31st Statehood Day of Arunachal Pradesh at Indira Gandhi park at Itanagar today. He will be accompanied by Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju.
