CBSE to conduct NEET for admission into medical courses on May 7

Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will lead National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for induction into restorative courses on May 7.

CBSE conducts the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) exam and on the premise of it the understudies are decided for admission to different universities.

Prior, it had been chosen that competitors could show up in the NEET thrice till they are 25 years of age.

The choice was taken amid a University Grants Commission (UGC) meeting in Delhi some time back.

The base age to show up for NEET is 17 years, in any case, the most extreme age is 30 years for the held classification understudies.

NEET will be held in eight dialects - Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu - for the scholarly year 2017-18.

Likewise, the applicant qualifying NEET will be qualified for all India quantity and different shares under the state governments and foundations independent of the medium taken by hopefuls, subject to other qualification criteria, the Union Health Ministry had said in an announcement in December a year ago.
