Chhath Puja 2018: Chaturthi to Saptami sunrise and sunset timings

Since the main puja revolves around the Sun God, sunrise and sunset timings are very important.
Mumbai: The four-day long Chhath Puja 2018 celebrations will begin on November 11. Women who hail from the states of Bihar and Jharkhand observe fast, offer their prayers to the Sun God and conclude the puja by worshipping Chhati Maiyya.
Chhath Puja is believed to be the only Vedic festival dedicated to Surya (the Sun God). Women offer their prayers to Surya Devta to thank the Lord for sustaining life on Earth.
Since the main puja revolves around the Sun God, sunrise and sunset timings are very important.
According to drikpanchang.com, the sunrise and sunset timings for this year's Chhath Puja are as follows:
Festivities begin with Nahay Khay on Chaturthi tithi (November 11).
Sunrise at 6:38 AM
Sunset at 5:32 PM
On the following day - Panchami - Lohanda and Kharna is observed. (November 12)
Sunrise at 6:38 AM
Sunset at 5:32 PM
Chhath Puja and Sandhya Arghya are performed on Shashti (November 13).
Since the most significant day falls on the sixth day of the month of Kartika, it is called Chhath.
Sunrise at 6:39 AM.
Sunset at 5:31 PM.
The festivities conclude on Saptami with Usha Arghya (November 14).
Sunrise at 6:40 AM
Sunset at 5:31 PM.
