Hilarious Video: Woman Goes To Drop Her Kids To School, But Forgets To Take Her Kids Along

School pickups and drop-offs, grocery shopping, science projects, essays and reading assignments, sports, dance, martial arts, tutoring...you name it, parenting is tough! Sure, one can read all the parenting books, ask a paediatrician a million questions, but nothing can help mothers who have a thousand things on their mind.

Being absent-minded is a part of parenting and sometimes there are silly mistakes that makes one bawl out in laughter, like this mother who literally drove all the way to school to drop her kids, but forgot to put her kids in the car, in the first place.

A video of the woman laughing at her absentmindedness when she realises what she did, has gone viral.

Completely losing it and laughing at this point - because what else can you do but laugh at yourself - she says, “I have to go back and pick them up.” Her laughter is the best thing about this video; it’s hard not to smile and giggle along with her as she says, “I can’t believe it. I left my kids…at home.”

The video has gone viral with over a million views. And it’s worth every second of the 46-second video. “I was supposed to take them to school, and I got in the car, and I left,” she says before breaking into a fit of laughter.

Mornings are a crucial time for mothers across the world, from preparing breakfast for the family to getting kids ready for school. there are a million things at hand and mistakes are bound to happen.

In a similar incident that took place back in 2015, a mother forgot her baby in a shopping cart at a grocery store in Arizona, US. According to reports, the woman named Cherish Peterson said she was rushing around a Fry's grocery store while trying to buy her nephew candy for his birthday when she became absent-minded and forgot her own kid.

Peterson had three of her four young children with her and left her two-month-old son, Huxton, behind; the baby was found by the police.

In another - but less funny and more serious - incident of a forgetful parent, in 2019 a Malaysia-bound plane had to turn back to Saudi Arabia after a passenger realised she had left her baby at the terminal. The pilot, en route to Kuala Lumpur, made the unusual request to return to the airport in Jeddah shortly after takeoff, when the passenger told cabin crew she had forgotten her child. A video of the pilot calling into air traffic control went viral and showed the unusual exchange between him and the operators, as he asks for permission to go back to King Abdulaziz airport.
