Fans troll Virender Sehwag for his Raksha Bandhan post on Twitter

Virender Sehwag trolled himself in his tweet on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Later, his fans also trolled the former Indian opener for his post.

 
 

Since his retirement from the game, Virender Sehwag has become a star on social media. The former Indian opener has a huge fan following and his posts get huge engagement. He has a habit of coming up with funny tweets and wishing birthdays to his friends in a comical way. However, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, he trolled himself with an epic tweet. "Celebrating the wonderful inseparable bond that is Raksha Bandhan. With my lovely sisters Anju ji and Manju ji , I Ganju ji :) Wishing you all a very #HappyRakshaBhandan," a tweet from him read as.

Talking of his playing career, Sehwag played a total of 104 Tests and 251 ODIs. He also played 19 T2OIs before retiring from the game in 2015. After his retirement, he took up coaching role and is currently Mentor and Head of Cricket Operations of the of the IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab. He also applied for the post of head coach of Indian cricket team in 2017.
 
 
Sehwag also performed captaincy duties during his playing career and led India in 12 Tests, 4 ODIs and 1 T20I. In Tests, India won seven games under him while on five occasions, they ended up as the losing team. In ODIs, India won two games under him.
 
Sehwag led India in their first-ever T20I and that remains to be the only contest where he captained the team. Apart from that, he also led Delhi, Haryana and Delhi Daredevils. He also led Kings XI Punjab in one T20 contest, which ended in a  tie.
