Subsequent to postponing the declaration because of a continuous quarrel with International Cricket Council over an income sharing model, the board individuals at long last arrived at a conclusion.

There were gossipy tidbits that a couple of individuals from the board for hauling out of the prestigious competition after the BCCI was squashed 1-13 at the ICC Board meeting as of late where the proposed income model was advanced for a story test.

This was after BCCI's share from ICC income was lessened from USD 570 million to USD 293 million.
