IPL 2019: MS Dhoni sees Rishabh Pant’s warning video, gives a fitting reply - Watch

Veteran wicketkeeper-batsman and Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni has given a fitting reply to Rishabh Pant's warning video ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019.

Ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019, players are seen shooting warning to their opposition players. The likes of Jasprit Bumrah and Rishabh Pant have fired warnings to Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni respectively as the players look forward to the challenge in the impending cash-rich T20 tournament. Pant, who plays for Delhi Capitals, had earlier warned Dhoni about his quickfire knocks and said that he is coming to haunt the Chennai Super Kings’ bowlers with his game. Now, Dhoni has reacted to the video and has given a fitting reply to the young southpaw.

In a video released by Star Sports, the veteran wicketkeeper-batsman is seen watching Pant’s video and then starts to give him advice. Dhoni in the video, says that he had a similar attitude when he was young like him. The former Indian skipper further asks Rishabh to bring on the challenge and said he would wait for him from behind the stumps. He later asks Pant to display his game and then earn a name for himself.

Here is the video:

Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings will take the field in the upcoming IPL 2019 to defend their title after sensationally lifting it for the third time in the 2018 edition. Whereas a revamped Delhi Capitals would hope to break their duck and win the trophy for the first time since its inauguration in 2008.

Meanwhile, Pant had a cold T20I series against Australia as the swashbuckling batter managed to score just three and one in the first and second T20Is respectively. Whereas Dhoni had a much better series as compared to Pant as he scored an unbeaten 29 and a quickfire 40 in the first and second T20I respectively.

Both Pant and Dhoni, along with the other members of the Indian team, will now shift their focus to the five-match ODI series against Australia, which starts from March 2.
