John Cena crushes Baron Corbin in a matter of few seconds at WWE Columbus - watch video

John Cena participated in his first match of 2019 and defeated Baron Corbin during a live event at Columbus. Earlier as well, he had defeated Corbin in a one-on-one match in New York.

WWE veteran superstar John Cena kicked off the year 2019 with an easy win over Baron Corbin, former WWE Raw's General Manager. He defeated Corbin in a matter of seconds to register his second consecutive win in a one-on-one match since his return to WWE just a week back. In his first match as well, Cena had faced Corbin and had won the tie.

For once again, a match between Corbin and Braun Strowman was announced for WWE Columbus on January 4. Since Strowman is recovering from the shoulder issue, he wasn’t on the show which saw John Cena being called out for the match.

Corbin escaped the ring and was walking back into the arena but the other members of the Raw roster, once again, came out and pushed Corbin into the ring. Cena hit Corbin with AA and then hit him with the 'Sixth move of Doom' to make the things easy and defeat his opponent.

In his previous match, the former WWE champion had defeated The Miz at WWE Tampa. Prior to that, he had faced Daniel Bryan in one-on-one matches on two consecutive days in steel cage matches, losing on both the occasions. On one occasion, he had the opportunity to win the title as well but the new Daniel Bryan emerged victorious twice.

Cena will continue to take part in matches as he will be at Donald L. Tucker Civic Center on January 5 and will compete in another match on January 6 at Tallahassee Hertz Arena, Ft. Myers. On January 7, he will be on WWE Raw, which will be televised. No match has been announced for the show as of now.

After that, he will be making four more appearances on WWE, which might include one more appearance on WWE Raw. Cena participated in a mixed-match challenge clash last week where he teamed up with Becky Lynch against Andrade Almas and Zelina Vega on Smackdown Live.
