MS Dhoni reveals his first crush and then says 'Do not tell Sakshi'

MS Dhoni reveals his first crush and then says

MS Dhoni's first crush was revealed in public by a magic trick performer.

The former India captain is in the form of his life in IPL 2018, having hammered 360 runs from 10 matches. Dhoni has led Chennai Super Kings superbly and they are now second on the points table and all but assured of a berth in the play-offs.

The Dhoni cult, therefore, has continued to grow. Fans around the country have been in awe of the 36-year-old's sensational hitting skills and that includes Virat Kohli, whose RCB has been at the receiving end of Dhoni's fireworks twice in the tournament.

And to make things sweeter for all MSD fans, Sakshi and Ziva have accompanied Captain Cool to all of CSK's matches. But that is not all, it seems.

At a promotional event for Gulf Oil on Tuesday, Dhoni revealed the name of his first crush and no.

This is how it went.

The performer said he hoped the crush was a girl and MSD quipped: "The new trend was not there that time."

And then followed a set of startling revelations.

"There's an A in the word. All girls' names have an A," said the magician.

Dhoni then went on to reveal that 'A' was the third letter in the name and waited with bated breath.

Finally, the performer held a placard over Dhoni's head and the former India captain said. "Yes her (first crush) name is Swati. Don't tell my wife, okay?"

But Sakshi has no reason to worry of course. Dhoni last met Swati back in 1999 when he was in Class XII.

A doting father and a loving husband, Dhoni spends most of his time with his family away from cricket. He had retired from Test cricket in 2014, bang in the middle of the Test series in Australia. In January of 2017, he also stepped down as captain of India's limited-overs sides.

He has since been in reasonably good form in ODIs but struggled in the T20 format, leading critics to questions his place in the shortest format for India. However, Dhoni has silenced his critics with what has been his best IPL season so far since 2008.

In 10 matches so far, Dhoni has clobbered 27 sixes, more than any other batsman and looks good to hit a few more before the season runs out.
