See how Virat Kohli and Co. celebrated their 2-1 series win over New Zealand

The Indian cricket team on Sunday celebrated a remarkable 2-1 series win over New Zealand in the three-match ODI series, clinching a thrilling final game in Kanpur by six runs.

The victory handed the Virat Kohli-led team their seventh ODI series win on the trot, but it was a game in which New Zealand gave the hosts a real scare at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur.

Despite setting up a huge target of 338 runs, bolstered by centuries from Kohli (113) and Rohit Sharma (147), the hosts found it difficult to get rid of the Kiwis batsmen on a placid wicket.

It was largely due to their excellent death overs bowling that India were able to clinch the win.

Naturally, the The Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli posted a picture on his social media accounts late Sunday night, which showed the squad striking up the pose Shikhar Dhawan does whenever he takes a catch.

India will now take on New Zealand in a three-match T20I series starting November 1, a game which is set to be Ashish Nehra’s final appearance on the international circuit. The second and the third T20Is will be played on November 4 and 7 respectively.
