Strolling on the streets in England: Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli and Anushka

Shikhar Dhawan, his wife and kids went out for a stroll in the streets with Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma. India, on a tour of the United Kingdom, have so far played two T20I series (vs Ireland and England) and an ODI series against England.

While India comprehensively won both T20I series, they lost the three-match ODI series. Kohli was the only bright spark in India's batting line-up, finishing as the second-highest run-scorer. Dhawan was not at his best and the middle-order continued to disappoint with the likes of Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni unable to fire.

However, two days after their eight-wicket defeat at Leeds, Dhawan and Kohli were out with their families to enjoy the sights and sounds of England. The Indian team does not believe in fretting over defeats. In South Africa, after going down 1-2 in the Test series, the players bounced back to win the ODI and T20I series against a weakened Proteas side.

On Wednesday, India announced an 18-member squad for the first three Tests of a five-match series starting August 1. Besides Dhawan and Kohli, the likes of KL Rahul, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Dinesh Karthik and Umesh Yadav will soon join up with the Test specialists.

But before the grind begins, India's two batting giants decided to enjoy some quiet family time. Dhawan's wife Ayesha and their kids, Kohli and Anushka walked the streets, something that is impossible for them to do in India.

Kohli and Anushka have earlier been spotted going out for walks and coffee on the tour of England. The couple were also seen shopping at a mall.

A few days back, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, Kohli and Anushka made the most of some off time for the Indian team on their tour of England. Rahul posted a photo of the group enjoying a train journey.

Rahul was in spectacular form in the 2018 IPL for Kings XI Punjab and he was subsequently picked for the tour of Ireland and England. He made a cracking half-century in the second T20I against Ireland before hammering his second T20I hundred against England.

The stylish Bangalore batsman recently revealed how Kohli and Anushka helped him after a disappointing Test debut in Australia back in 2014.

Rahul revealed on talk show Open House with Renil, how he was disappointed and depressed with his performance and how Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma came to his aid.
