Stuart Broad brutally trolls himself recalling incident where he was hit for six 6s by Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj Singh took a special to Stuart Broad as he plundered him to all parts of the ground as he brought about a batting spectacle in Durban against England during his knock of 16 ball 58.

The ongoing Test match between England and Sri Lanka at Pallkele saw Sam Curran stand up for his team just when his team needed him the most. Replying to Sri Lanka's first-innings total of 336, England found themselves in trouble with the top-order succumbing to the Lankan bowlers. Curran, then took center stage and pulled the game back in England's favor as he scored a 119 ball 64. What was impressive about his knock was that he hit six sixes before hitting his boundary. Soon after England Cricket highlighted the fact on social media, Stuart Broad trolled himself mentioning an iconic incident from the past.

The ECB Instagram handle took notice of this innings and congratulated the youngster by complimenting him for his innings. Curran added a 60 run stand with James Anderson as he plundered the Sri Lankan bowlers all throughout his knock, shielding Anderson at the other hand. He certainly proved his worth as a batter and coupled with his ability to swing the ball has all the possibility to turn into the all-rounder who can very well support Ben Stokes in the playing XI. The ECB  Instagram handle complemented him as they wrote " “Ever seen someone smash six sixes before they hit their first four?”

England Test spearhead Stuart Broad was at the receiving end of some terrific hitting by Yuvraj Singh in the inaugural edition of the World T20 back in 2007. It was the advent of World T20 which was won by India under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. Yuvraj Singh had a big role to play for India throughout the campaign for  India and he brought out his best against England in Durban. His 16 ball 58 helped India to score 218 for 8 after 20 overs. Taking a liking to Broad the southpaw started going berserk in Durban as he spanked the right arm pacer to all parts of the ground. One of his sixes went as long as 119 meters which is still a record in World T20.

Taking to Instagram, Broad remembered Yuvraj's knock as he replied on ECB's post by mentioning Yuvarj's name.

India won the inaugural edition of the World T20 under MS Dhoni's captaincy which brought the man from Ranchi on the map of Indian cricket. India then went onto win three two more ICC titles under him, the 2011 World Cup and the 2013 Champions Trophy.
