Twitter goes berserk as MS Dhoni and Hardik Pandya impress with their acting skills in new advertisement

Fans on Twitter cannot stop gushing over MS Dhoni and Hardik Pandya's acting skills as the duo starred in a new ad.

MS Dhoni and Hardik Pandya share a great bond both on and off the field. The duo have over the years combined to win numerous games for India and have also been spotted together hanging out on a number of occasions. The duo recently featured in an advertisement for Star Sports which is being loved by the fans. Hardik and Dhoni can be seen talking in Bhojpuri as they appear to be watching a cricket match from a tree.

In the video, Dhoni and Pandya have been shown as fans of each other. The conversation between them in Bhojpuri has bowled over fans on Twitter as the video was shared by Hardik on his Twitter account and the fans can't stop gushing over the acting skills of the duo.

Here's how Twitter reacted as Hardik and Dhoni appeared in an advertisement together:

While Hardik returned to the Test squad after recovering from injury and impressing for Baroda in the Ranji Trophy, Dhoni made a comeback in the T20 squad after missing out on the T20I series against West Indies and Australia. The veteran wicket-keeper batsman was picked in the squad alongside Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik.

Dhoni had a dismal 2018 and couldn't impress with the bat as he was subsequently dropped from the T20 squad with Pant and Karthik getting a nod ahead of him. However, the former Indian captain was included in the T20 squad for the upcoming New Zealand series ahead of the World Cup.

Meanwhile, Hardik, who suffered an injury during the Asia Cup 2018 recovered well in time and played for Baroda in the Ranji Trophy before earning a call-up in the Test squad for the 3rd and fourth Test against Australia in the ongoing series. India won the third Test at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground by 137 runs to take a 2-1 lead in the 4-match series.
