The good thing is that you can do a good cardio workout at home and without requiring a ton of space or fancy equipment. All you need is a little creativity to help you create a fitness routine comprising a wide range of effective cardio exercises that will get your blood pumping and large muscles working, speeding up your weight loss.
 
Cardio workouts can help you burn a significant amount of calories, it tones your body - including your inner and outer thighs, quadriceps, and your abdomen - giving you thinner arms, legs, and a flat belly. Cardio exercise can help lower the risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, and increase HDL or good cholesterol. It also helps regulate blood sugar and improve lung function. And here’s one powerful home cardio workout to rev up your metabolism and eliminate your belly fat quickly. 
 
Jumping Jacks for burning belly fat
 
Jumping jacks are an effective total-body workout that can be done almost everywhere. It is claimed that it can help you burn around 100 calories in 10 minutes without any special equipment or skills. To do 250 jumping jacks, it would take just three minutes of vigorous effort. Vigorous types of cardio exercise, including jumping jacks, can help you burn fat all over your body, including your belly, faster mainly due to their high intensity and the large number of calories burned. This exercise also boosts the body’s metabolic rate, improves muscle endurance, which promotes weight loss.

 
 

It is also a good idea to use a high-intensity blast such as jumping jacks in your regular workout. Try adding a minute or more of jumping jacks throughout the workout or at the end for optimal results. 
 
To do Jumping Jacks-
 
• Stand straight with your legs and arms by your side.
 
• Jump up, spread your feet beyond hip-width apart while bringing your arms above your head.
 
• Jump again as you lower your arms and bring your legs together, returning to the starting position.
 
• Repeat until the set is complete.
 
Precautions: Since jumping jacks are a high impact exercise, it may tax the joints.
 
To do this exercise, you just need a good pair of shoes, and a conditioned heart. According to the American Heart Association, everyone should aim to get a minimum of 30 minutes of some form of cardiovascular exercise 5 to 7 days a week.
