Wednesday, January 29, 2020 IST
To the point: How many times have you lustfully watched those Insta stories of people who make enough dough to travel 10-12 times a year? Is your social media flooded by travel bloggers who give you the FOMO feels, thanks to all the sponsored travels? Well, we have news for you and its good! Read on!
Travel addicts, get ready to travel through India because now the government will take care of your expenses (we’re ready to burst into tears!). That’s right! To promote tourism inside India, the Tourism Depart of India is launching Paryatan Parv. As a part of this initiative, it is funding travel of people who visit more than 15 Indian destinations in a year as an incentive. The list will be shared soon on the tourism website and it is being done to increase the footfall at tourism spots in the country.

The only catch here is that you are expected to travel outside your state and will have to upload the photos from the said destinations on the tourism website. The list of iconic sites will include the likes of Sun Temple at Konark, Odisha and the centre also plans on introducing tourist trains connecting lesser-known places in India. Other destinations from last year's list include Colva in Goa, Amer Fort in Rajasthan, Somnath and Dholavira in Gujarat, Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh, Hampi in Karnataka and Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu. Offbeat travel with expenses paid is all we have been dreaming about for the last several years! We can’t wait for the list of places to be out and get started on travelling!
