The new facility would hold a total staff strength of about 5000 employees.
The company said the UP government had allocated 27.5 acres in Sector-85, Noida to build the centre.
“We’re delighted that honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi felicitated our upcoming facility in Noida. The facility is a critical part of our effort to enhance our presence in the national capital region and leverage the talent pool available in this market. We are grateful to the state government of Uttar Pradesh for their support towards this endeavour,” Salil Parekh, CEO of Infosys, said in a statement.
