Gratitude, although an important virtue, is often forgotten in this day and age. In the bustle of modern life, it's easy to get caught up between our careers or relationships and eventually forget about the little things in between. But as we know, it's the little things that actually form our lives which makes gratitude even more important. To make an gratitude an integral part of your life, follow these 4 habits of grateful people which allows them to truly appreciate life in every aspect.
 

 
 

1. They Journal
 
Journaling is a wonderful way to keeps track not only of the good events, but also of the bad that happens on a daily basis. A sense of appreciation is felt when one looks back at circumstances and realises that they've made it through so much and learned many life lessons on the way.
 
2. They Volunteer
 
Grateful people understand that the world doesn't begin and end with them. That's why they reach out to those who may not be as fortunate as them to volunteer by teaching a class, accompanying the elderly or donating to those in need. This helps gain a deeper appreciation for what they have.
 
3. They Live In The Moment
 
Gratitude comes from being present and appreciating everything that comes along with it, big and small. Grateful people make it a point to do so and be thankful for all that comes on life's journey.
 
 

 
 

4. They Say It
