Canadian children sing ‘Om Jai Jagdish’ during a Christmas concert, video goes viral - Watch
'Om Jai Jagdish', a Hindu religious song for the diety Vishu, seems to have found some young fans in Canada. A video has gone viral on social media that shows a group of Canadian children, dressed in a maroon uniform, singing the popular aarti song at a Christmas concert.
The video was also shared on Twitter by Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon with the caption, “Om Jai Jagdish hare aarti sung by Canadian kids at a Christmas Concert. One Planet, One People” .
It has now gone viral on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The adorable children, standing next to each other with notebooks in their hands, perform a choir on ‘Om Jai Jagdish’.Other musicians can also be seen in the video who are playing the tabla, sitar, harmonium, and flute.
The video was first published on YouTube and later shared on other social media platforms.
While most social media users were happy to see the video, some argued that it was fake.
One wrote “Start with 1:27 and focus on the guy with the flute. He puts it down as soon as flute part ends. And tabla player's hand movements sync with the sound. Not a fake.”
“Excellent effort by the children. Different ways of celebration and nice to hear our Indian culture Aarti song sang in Canada,” wrote another.
