Finding even one snake in your home can be a scary experience for anyone. So, think about a homeowner in Texas who spotted a “few” snakes living under his house. The man called in the big guns to help him with the frightening discovery only to find out there were actually 45 snakes living under his home. A video of a snake catcher removing the snakes has been shared on Facebook and it’s left many shuddering.
The terrifying discovery of the snakes was made when someone crawled under the house to check an issue related to the television cable. He noticed a “few” snakes and decided to call in for help. Little did he know, there were far from just a “few” snakes under the home.
Nathan Hawkins from Big Country Snake Removal arrived at the scene. He used a pair of snake tongs and a flashlight on his mission to remove the snakes, reports The Washington Post. He also used a camera phone to record everything.
Big Country Snake Removal later shared a video on Facebook detailing the 45-snake removal operation. The video, 18 minutes long, shows the scary process and no, it’s definitely not for the fainthearted.
Since being shared on March 18, the video has collected over 1.5 million views and counting. Along with all those views, the video has also received over 14,000 shares. Several people have posted comments sharing their reaction to this operation.
“I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night after seeing all those snakes under my house! YIKES!” says one Facebook user. “About 45 reasons to move,” says another. “You are a hero. I could never,” says a third.
In case you’re wondering, all the snakes were relocated post this operation, Big Country Snake Removal said in reply to several comments.
