This Woman Is Addicted To Eating Talcum Power, Has Spent More Than Rs 7.5 Lakh On It Till Date

People have bizarre addictions and fetishes, and on the list of such addictions is the name of 44-year-old Lisa Anderson from Devon.

Lisa has spent £8,000 (Approx Rs 7.5 lakhs) on her addiction of consuming talcum powder, every day.

Lisa first ate the product 15 years ago when she was bathing her son and felt the urge to try eating the powder. Since then, she has spent lakhs of rupees on Johnson's Baby Powder. She scoffs it off her hand almost every half an hour.

The mother of five easily consumes the whole 200 g bottle of power in a day. She gets up as many as four times in the night to feed her craving. For almost a decade she kept this addiction a secret. She then confided in her ex-partner and now she is getting professional help.

She was told by doctors that she may have symptoms of PICA syndrome - an eating disorder characterized by a compulsion to eat non-food items

"I do get it's a bit weird - but it just has this nice soapy taste. I can get through a 200 g bottle in a day but the bigger ones I get through about one-and-a-half a week”, Daily Mail quoted her as saying.

We hope doctors are able to help her and get a handle on her addiction.
