AIADMK mouthpiece slams Kamal and Rajini, asks ‘Amma’ to put an end to ‘clowns’

Dr Namadhu Amma published a poem that implores former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa to come back.

Dr Namadhu Amma, the mouthpiece of AIADMK, has slammed Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth on their political entry. The poem begs Amma (former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa) to visit St George Fort and put a stop to the ‘clowns.’

The poem calls Kamal Haasan a ‘coward’ and points out that he had threatened to leave the country when Amma (former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa) was alive. It ridicules Rajinikanth about mustering the energy to launch a political party after Amma’s demise.

The poem goes on to drag in movie directors Ameer, Bala, Gowthaman and Karu Pazhaniappan. It says that these directors who do not have films to work on have set out masquerading as ‘Tamil poralis’. It also says that Amma’s demise has emboldened old-time film directors like Bharathiraja and Parthipan to call for a press conference once every ten days.

The poem further says that people like actor Mansoor Ali Khan, BJP leader S Ve Shekher and director SA Chandrasekar have come out talking about various things. It also takes a dig at the social activists that are advocating against Sterlite and the proposed 8-lane Green Corridor from Chennai to Salem.

Ameer and Bala had started being vocal about issues that Tamil Nadu faces since the Jallikattu protest in January 2017. They along with Karu Pazhaniappan were supporting the anti-Sterlite protests in Thoothukudi. Director Bharathiraja had called for a press conference after the Puthiya Thalaimurai incident in Coimbatore and had slammed the government for being undemocratic.

S Ve Shekher recently came under fire for posting derogatory comments about women journalists and was initially denied bail by the Madras High Court. He was then granted bail on Wednesday by the Chennai Metropolitan Magistrate Court.

Mansoor Ali Khan, social activists Piyush Manush and S Valarmathi were arrested recently by the police for speaking against the proposed Chennai-Salem expressway.
