This is the new commandment the government wants college-goers to obey as part of its flagship Swachh Bharat programme.
A circular issued the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has asked all engineering, skilled and technical establishments thereunder to launch a campaign aimed at discouraging students from ejection on the field.
The establishments were told to involve voluntary teams like the National Services theme (NSS) and National plebe Corps (NCC) in implementing the rule. There are over 10,000 AICTE-approved establishments within the country, with AN entrance of concerning 20 lakh students.
