CBI raid homes of former Union minister P Chidambaram, son Karti
New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) authorities on Tuesday raided previous union minister and senior Congress pioneer P Chidambaram and his child Karti's homes in the national capital and Chennai on Tuesday.
As per reports, the central probe agency raided different living residences of Chidambaram regarding clearance's given to INX Media in 2008, when he was the back clergyman in the Manmohan Singh government.
Curiously, Peter Mukerjea and Indrani Mukerjea controlled 50 percent INX Media.
An aggregate of no less than 14 areas in Chidambaram`s home city of Chennai was sought by the CBI.
