    New Delhi: Following the Uttar Pradesh government's activity against unlawful slaughterhouses, four more Bharatiya Janata Party-ruled states-Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh - on Tuesday started its crackdown on illicit slaughterhouses.

    The principal state to take after the UP's activity was Jharkhand.

    Three meat shops were fixed in Haridwar, 11 made a request to close down in Raipur and one in Indore.

    As per a report in The Times of India, roughly 4,000 illicit shops confront conclusion in Jaipur. The Jaipur Municipal Corporation has reported clasping down on such shops and slaughterhouses from April. In any case, meat dealers have guaranteed that the JMC has not recharged or issued new licenses for any shops since March 31, 2016. They additionally charged that that 950 of these 4,000 shops were approved,
