TN: Woman constable injured in Vellore acid attack
A lady constable was harmed on Friday in an acid attack by unidentified individuals, police said.
The occurrence occurred at Tiruppattur in Vellore district.
Lavanya, a constable, endured wounds all over and right hand, police said.
She was admitted to a local hospital.
A test was on to determine the explanation behind the attack and capture the guilty parties, police included.
Police have framed five groups to capture the guilty parties, who had fled from the scene.
