Woman Chops Off Husband's Penis And Feeds It To Dogs As Revenge For Years Of Domestic Abuse

A 48-year-old Ukrainian woman has been arrested for allegedly killing and then dismembering her husband.
Maria reportedly decapitated her husband before chopping off his penis and feeding to the dogs. This incident occurred in the village of Obariv in the north of the country.
She reportedly told the cops that 'she was suffering domestic violence for ages and murdered her husband to put an end to it' and that 'it was the only way out'.
Reportedly, after cutting off his head, she put it in a sack.
According to Mrs Opanasiuk, a neighbor she felt quite sick by the entire incident but managed to raise alarm and then the police was called.
Maria, confessed to the crime and gave all its details to the police before getting arrested.
Police spokesman Vadim Artiukhovich reportedly said, “The suspect confessed in full at the scene. She was charged with murder and taken into custody.The woman said that she was constantly suffering physical and emotional abuse and did not see any other option to end her misery.”
He further added, “'Neighbours say they, in fact, saw the husband beating her up and chasing her with an axe a lot of times. However, the woman has never reported the incidents.”
If Maria is found guilty, she might end up spending 15 years in prison.
The question is, if indeed she was a domestic violence victim, was what she did justified?
