5 cricketers who never bowled a no-ball in their international career

Cricket is a game which is full of uncertainties. A single ball bowled can change the fate of the game. If ever a bowler crosses single inch of foot ahead of the crease, it may cost the entire match to a team.

 
 

However, with new rules implied by ICC, a no-ball does not only cost the team a run but also gives a free hit to the batsman.
 
Still, there are some players who never bowled a no-ball in their entire career and they are:
 
1. Lance Gibbs
 
 
West Indies legend Lance Gibbs played 79 Tests and 3 ODIs. He was the first spinner to reach the 300-wickets mark in Test cricket history. In his long playing career, Gibbs never bowled a no-ball and is the only spinner in this elite list.
 
2. Ian Botham
 
 
The great all-rounder Ian Botham of England played cricket with flair and flamboyance and entertained fans across the world. In his 16-year cricketing career, Botham did not bowl a single no-ball. He played 102 Tests and 116 ODIs for England.
 
3. Imran Khan
 
 
Pakistani fast bowler Imran Khan was one of the world’s best bowlers. He played 88 Tests, 175 one-day matches and led Pakistan to its first-ever World Cup in 1992. During his entire career, Imran never crossed the line.
 

 
 

4. Dennis Lillee
 
 
Australian fast bowler, Dennis Lillee is one of the greatest fast bowlers of all-time. He is known as one of the most disciplined fast bowlers who has played the game. In fact, he never bowled a no-ball in his international career. Lille played 70 Tests and 63 ODI matches for his team.
 
5. Kapil Dev
 
 
India’s best all-rounder Kapil Dev lead his side to win their first World Cup in 1983. He played 131 Tests and 225 one-day matches but never delivered a no-ball in his entire career.
