No matter what the occasion, a midi dress seems to always work. Yesterday, Priyanka Chopra picked a floral Zara version of the silhouette for her meeting with Queen Rania of Jordan, Kriti Sanon chose a pristine white belted knee-grazer for her flight to Mumbai, and Diana Penty stepped out in a sheer black avatar of the monsoon must-have for the screening of Lucknow Central. The look was even a favourite overseas, with Emma Roberts choosing a terra cotta Rebecca Vallance, and both, Rihanna and Catherine Zeta Jones opting for ebony midis.
