Former WWE wrestler almost beaten to death by six men in row over parking spot

The former bodybuilder, Tom Magee, 59, is believed to have become involved in an altercation with the men on his driveway

A former professional wrestler was brutally beaten by six men in a row over a car parking spot, it was reported.

Ex-World Wrestling Federation star Tom Magee, 59, was viciously attacked by a group of young men outside his Mar Vista home in Los Angeles, California.

The former bodybuilder is believed to have become involved in an altercation with the men on his driveway.

Magee's friend Kendall Noxxel told CBS News : "Tom came and encountered the young men, and it proceeded to a fight.

"It was sort of a conflict over who was allowed to park in this spot."

A neighbour, who wished to remain anonymous, told the news channel: "They were literally kicking him, punching him in the face and in the head."

Magee was beaten so badly he suffered a broken jaw, broken eye socket and concussion.

Harrowing photos of his injuries emerged online as neighbours said he was "lucky to be alive".

The suspects fled the scene but two men were later arrested.

Justin Lee and Degrate Bryant, both 20, now faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon.

Canadian-born Magee is a former Strongman who spent four years in the WWE, from 1986 to 1990, with a notable win against Bret Hart.
