Kids Carve Out Carrom Board In Mud, Anand Mahindra Says 'India Has Zero Poverty Of Imagination'
In one of the most recent posts Mahindra shared a picture of kids playing carrom in a small area they carved out in mud.
This picture was actually posted on Reddit back in 2018. It shows five children playing with a carrom board made of mud and what looks like bottle caps for carrom men.
Impressed by their creativity, Mr Mahindra tweeted his appreciation and wrote: "What an inspiring photo to see in my #whatsappwonderbox this morning. Incontestable evidence that India has zero poverty of imagination..."
And we all know pictures like these really have no shelf life, each time it's posted on a Whatsapp group, it's bound to strike up a conversation on it's ingenuity.
More recently, Mahindra who is known to be extremely responsive on social media, replaced the use of 'plastic bottles' with refillable metal bottles in meeting rooms after a user pointed it out.
During the K.C.M.E.T scholarship selections in July, Anand Mahindra had shared an image of the meeting room on the popular social network. In the image, it can be clearly seen that everyone in the meeting room had plastic bottles and one user was quick to point that out.
